Eating Disorder Recovery & Self Enquiry Coaching
Guided by 20 Years of Lived Experience
When I was 14, I had my first hospital admission for Anorexia Nervosa. What followed were years of fear, hospital stays, self-doubt, depression, addictions, and an endless search to feel “good enough.” For a long time, I believed recovery meant either managing symptoms or resigning to live in struggle forever.
Everything shifted when I was introduced to Self Enquiry, Self Recognition Meditation, and Somatic Reset Practices. After 16 years of living with an eating disorder, I came to see that I wasn’t my eating disorder—that the voice in my head, however convincing, wasn’t who I truly was. Over time, I began to trust that I didn’t need the eating disorder to feel okay.
The same practices that supported my own recovery are now the foundation of the work I share. My 1:1 sessions support you to cultivate safety in your body, meet difficult emotions with compassion and resilience, question survival patterns, loosen the grip of fear and insecurities, and build the inner steadiness and self-trust to live in a way that feels authentic to you.

This space is for you if…
You’re tired of the fight—with food, your body, your mind
You’ve tried all the strategies, but something still feels stuck
You long to feel at ease within yourself
You wonder who you are without the eating disorder
You sense there’s more to life than coping, or striving
You desire to cultivate deeper connection with others
You want to live with more freedom, authenticity, and self-trust

This is about cultivating safety in your body, trust in your innate wisdom and clarity for aligned action — so that life no longer feels like something to survive, but something to meet fully, as you are.
Together, we gently question the rules that no longer serve you, the stories that once protected, but ultimately restrict you from living authentically. We explore the unconscious patterns that keep looping, the emotions that feel too big, and the beliefs that quietly, yet convincingly shape how you see yourself. Layer by layer, we soften the grip of the eating disorder—not through resistance, but through curiosity, understanding and embodied awareness. This is a path back home to yourself, where self-trust grows, your internal environment softens, and life begins to feel spacious, vibrant and deeply connected.
The Way I Work…
I listen deeply and ask attuned questions that reveal what lies beneath.
In our 1:1 Online Sessions, I guide you or your loved one to access inner stability that isn’t dependent on external validation, control, or the voice of the Eating Disorder. My offerings are grounded in practical skills:
Self Recognition
A meditation practice where you consciously recognise who you are beyond thoughts, beliefs, perceptions, emotions, feeling states, memories and body sensations. It’s not about thinking your way to feeling okay—it’s a recognition where you verify in your direct experience that peace, joy, love, and clarity aren’t qualities you need to earn or create. They are intrinsic to your nature. This practice helps you acclimatise to being at ease without needing anything to change.
Self Enquiry
A practice of identifying and questioning unconscious beliefs—like I’m not good enough, I need to be thin to be loved, or I can’t handle feeling out of control. We’re not replacing these with positive beliefs or trying to change the mind through force. Instead, we bring awareness and sincere enquiry to the unconscious patterns shaping our experience. In that recognition and clarity, their grip naturally loosens, and we begin to see they’re not who we truly are. This opens the door to conscious choice and the possibility of a completely different reality.
Somatic Reset
Practices where you will learn to be with emotional intensity without needing to escape, numb, or control. You’ll build the skill to discern when fear is psychological, rather than a real threat. This expands your capacity to respond with clarity & conscious choice, instead of reacting from the survival mind. This skill-set prepares your body-mind to stay grounded in the face of challenges, helping you choose authenticity over fear-based responses.

For Parents
& Carers
If you’re here for someone you love, I see your heartbreak. It’s incredibly difficult to watch someone you care about suffer. You may feel like you’re walking on eggshells, unsure of what to say or do, afraid of making things worse.
I offer compassionate support, education, and practical tools to help you stay connected through the uncertainty—so you can show up with presence and understanding, moment-to-moment. You’ll learn skills to support you in being with challenging emotions, so you can respond more authentically, even in the face of fear and uncertainty.
Our focus is on supporting your internal environment, so that your presence becomes a powerful source of safety, connection, and trust.

Reflections From Those I’ve Walked Beside
“Every time I talk to you and we go into this space, I feel like I can breathe again. I feel like myself. It makes me really emotional because I’ve gone my whole life searching for something like this. And to be able to do it with you, it is so special. The way you can pick things. I just feel so grateful.”

“I came to Georgie to seek guidance after what has felt like a lifetime dealing with self judgement, shame and eating disorders. After so many attempts at trying to “fix” these issues within me, I sought a new perspective and way of understanding myself. Within the many sessions I’ve had with Georgie, I’ve found just that. And rather than seeking to just understand, I have come to accept myself. Georgie has such a warm and inviting presence, and I have never felt so seen, understood and welcomed in a space where exploring these difficult thoughts and feelings. Those difficult thoughts and feelings no longer feel so daunting. Georgie has helped guide me home to myself. Because of these sessions with Georgie, I have been able to build a safe space within myself, which has had a profound effect on the relationships I have and life I now live. It’s personal work that I do with Georgie, and so to her I am eternally grateful.”
How Self Enquiry Helped Me Overcome My Fear of Photos & Heal How I Saw Myself
For years, I felt an overwhelming fear whenever someone tried to take a photo of me. It impacted my relationships and how I experienced the world around me. It wasn’t about the photo — it was about shame, control, and the belief that I wasn’t enough. It didn’t matter what weight I was — the fear was always there. In this video, I share how Self Enquiry and Self Recognition Meditation helped me unravel the deeper layers behind this fear and transform my relationship with my body and how I experience life through my inner world. But I want to be clear — what I’m sharing here is just a very brief overview. These shifts didn’t happen overnight. It’s not as easy as it may sound, and that’s exactly why I support people through these practices in a safe, grounded and compassionate way.
FAQs

Coaching doesn’t replace clinical or medical care. I don’t diagnose, treat, or create meal plans. Psychologists and dietitians offer essential forms of support, especially when it comes to medical stabilisation and structured treatment.
My role is different. I walk alongside you as a mentor, guide and mirror — someone who’s been where you are. I offer a collaborative space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface, with curiosity, honesty, and deep listening. Together, we build the skills of Self Recognition, Self Enquiry, and Self Regulation, so you can relate to your inner world, and the external world, in a completely new way.
Many clients find this work complements clinical support by addressing deeper patterns and beliefs that often go untouched. Others come to me once they’re medically stable and ready to move beyond managing symptoms. Either way, our focus is on cultivating inner resilience and allowing true transformation to unfold — naturally and sustainably.

Not at all. You don’t need a diagnosis — and you don’t need to know exactly what you're struggling with.
If you feel stuck in patterns around food, body image, emotional reactivity, perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-sabotage, or addiction, you’re not alone. I support people who sense there’s another way beyond the coping mechanisms they’ve been relying on.
You might have an underlying feeling of unease, a sense that something deeper is calling for attention, or a feeling that life just isn’t quite aligned. This work meets you there. It’s for anyone ready to explore their inner world and reconnect with their authentic self.
-
I know how it feels to search for support that truly meets you — it was a big part of my own journey, and it’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about offering this kind of space.
Maybe therapy has felt too clinical, or you’ve felt dismissed, misunderstood, or like something deeper is being missed. That’s often where my work fits in.
I offer a space where those reactions — the resistance, fear, confusion, or even burnout from “trying to get better” — are welcomed, explored, and understood. This isn’t about fixing you, but meeting you exactly where you are and supporting you in becoming more internally resourced.
Some clients come here after other forms of support haven’t quite landed. Others work with me alongside a broader team, using our sessions to ground, reflect, and reconnect with their own clarity.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. I’m here to support you in discovering what resonates most with where you are — right now.

Each session is a spacious, supportive environment to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with what’s really going on beneath the surface. Whether you’re navigating emotional overwhelm, challenges with food and body image, parenting stress, or a deeper call to live in alignment with yourself, the session meets you where you are.
Using Self Enquiry, Self Recognition Meditation, and Somatic Reset practices you'll be gently guided to:
Identify and question unconscious beliefs and patterns that may be fuelling inner conflict or reactivity—without trying to force change or replace them with ‘positive thinking’.
Recognise who you are beyond thoughts, feelings, and roles, through a guided, embodied practice that reconnects you to the peace, clarity, and steadiness that are already here.
Move out of survival mode (fight, flight, freeze) by learning how to regulate your nervous system and meet challenging emotions and sensations without being overwhelmed.
Over time, this work supports you in responding to life from a deeper, steadier place—and naturally aligning with your own sense of truth, purpose, and ease.
You’ll also receive practical tools and action steps to support you between sessions, with the option for voice/text support if you’d like extra guidance as things unfold.

Your Next Steps
If something in you feels quietly stirred by these words…
If there’s a soft inner nudge—just the faintest maybe—that wonders if this could support you…
I invite you to honour that.
So often, the first steps toward healing are quiet ones. A whisper. A sense. A moment of recognition that something in the way you’ve been coping is asking to shift.
As someone who has experienced the isolation, pain, fear and hopelessness that comes with living in the grips of an Eating Disorder, I understand the unique challenges on the path of recovery. I am also living proof of how you can create a life you love when you start questioning the voice based in judgement, and give yourself permission to take small steps of aligned action.
You might choose to book a free Clarity Call to explore how this work could support you, or simply reach out with a question. You can also take your time, revisit this space when it feels right, or read through my FAQs to learn more. However you choose to move, trust that even considering support is a powerful step.
With love, Georgie
